BK Birla School and Century Rayon School celebrated the festival of Ashadhi Ekadashi

Birla Group celebrated the tradintion of Ashadhi Ekadashi in full swing tbis year as well

Kalyan: On the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi B. K. Birla College organized Dnyan Dindi from B. K. Birla College Kalyan to Vithoba Temple, Shahad. In this Dindi students of Birla College, Birla School, Century Rayon School and students from different locality had participated immensely. Shri O. R. Chitlange, Chairman, Governing Council, B. K. Birla College was Chief Guest of the program. Shri Subodh Dave Vice-Chairman Governing Council B. K. Birla College, Dr. Naresh Chandra, Director, Education, Dr. Avinash Patil, Principal, B. K. Birla College, Dr. Harish Dubey, In-charge Principal, B. K. Birla Night College, Shri. Narendra Pawar; MP Kapil Patil, MLA Ganpata Gaykwad and all other college staff members had participated. 

The main intention and motive for this Dindi was to create awareness about the environment. The floats of different activities were also showcasing different aspects and participation of students shows the involvement on every dimension. The floats of B. K. Birla College, B. K. Birla School and M-Power have added to the effectiveness.  

Students participated in  traditional attire all rituals like Ringan, Lezim, Dhol-Tasha Pathak also took place Mahila Bhajani Mandal also gave their musical contribution which enhanced the grace of the program. 

Traditional Cultural program was conducted on the Lawn of Birla College where the students representing the units performed on the religious songs of Lord Vithala.

After COVID  19 situation this Dindi expressed the gratitude towards all the members of society who stood together in tough situation and have cope up in positive way. This Dindi shows the oneness among every member of society and the real strength of Unity. Around three thousand devotees participated which includes students, teaching, non-teaching staff and local residents.
